Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies LiveUp AG uses on www.teamliveup.com, why we use them and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies such as local storage, session storage and tracking pixels work in a comparable way. In this policy we call all of them "cookies". Some are necessary for the website to work, others help us measure our advertising.
2. Strictly necessary
These keep you signed in and remember small choices you make. The website cannot work properly without them, so they cannot be switched off on our side.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| payload-token | Cookie (first party) | Keeps you signed in to the member area after you used your sign-in link | 7 days, renewed when you visit |
| lu:session-refreshed | Session storage | Makes sure your sign-in is renewed only once per browser tab | Until you close the tab |
| liveup-dismissed-announcements | Local storage | Remembers which announcement banners you closed | Until you clear your browser data |
Our staff additionally use cookies for the content management system (language, display theme and content preview). These are only set for signed-in staff, never for visitors.
3. Statistics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are popular. It works without cookies and without storing anything in your browser, does not track you across other websites and gives us aggregated figures only. More information: Vercel Web Analytics privacy.
4. Marketing: Meta Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Facebook and Instagram) to measure how well our ads work and to show our ads to people who have visited our website. The pixel reports to Meta when you view a page, when you send us an application or enquiry, and when you complete a purchase (with the amount and the product). Meta can link this information to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one. Meta may transfer the data to the USA.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Cookie (set by Meta on our domain) | Recognises your browser for ad measurement | 90 days |
| _fbc | Cookie (set by Meta on our domain) | Stores the click reference when you arrive from a Meta ad | 90 days |
| meta-purchase:… | Session storage | Prevents a purchase from being reported twice if you reload the confirmation page | Until you close the tab |
The pixel is not loaded in our staff area. You can object to this use at any time, see below. Details on how Meta processes data: Meta Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party pages and embeds
- Payments.Checkout and the billing portal run on Stripe's own pages (checkout.stripe.com, billing.stripe.com). Stripe sets its own cookies there, mainly to prevent fraud.
- Rehab bookings. The booking calendar on our Rehab page is embedded from tbooking.ch, which may set its own cookies.
- Links.Links to Google Maps, WhatsApp, Instagram or "add to calendar" services take you to those providers, whose own cookie rules then apply. Nothing is loaded from them until you click.
Our fonts are hosted on our own server, and the map in the footer is a static image, so neither contacts Google when you visit.
6. How to control cookies
You decide what your browser stores:
- Delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to stay signed in.
- Block the Meta Pixel with your browser's tracking protection or a content blocker, or use a private window.
- Adjust which ads Meta shows you in your Meta ad preferences, or opt out of interest-based advertising at youronlinechoices.eu.
- Object to the use of the Meta Pixel for your data by writing to welcome@teamliveup.com.
7. More information
Your data and your rights
Who we are, which providers we work with and what rights you have are explained in our Privacy Policy. We update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove a technology; the date at the top shows the last change.
